If you’ve been out exploring The Whale Trail lately, you might have noticed something a little… different.

Rather than sticking with the traditional yellow loo symbols, we’ve given ours a full Whale Trail makeover. Please meet The Loo People — a cheerful cast of cycling / trail themed characters bringing a spark of fun and humour to your ride or walk.

Each one has been creatively dressed to add a smile to your journey. They’re a reminder that The Whale Trail is as much about enjoying our region and having fun along the way as it is about the distance covered.

You’ll spot these quirky characters popping up at rest‑area toilets across the trail — so keep your eyes peeled.
