Exciting Opportunity: Contribute to the Whale Trail Mural!

Join us in celebrating the Kaikoura segment of the Whale Trail with a vibrant new mural, proudly sponsored by Kiwi Rail!

The Marlborough Kaikoura Trail Trust is thrilled to announce that Kiwi Rail has generously sponsored a mural project on the small building at the back of Whale Watch, near the Kaikoura Helipad. Local artist Mary Ashwell has been commissioned to bring this mural to life over the winter.

But here's where you come in! We're running an exciting competition for you to contribute to the mural design. We invite everyone to submit a sketch, drawing, or text/narrative describing their adventures along the trail. Imagine the stunning mountain-to-sea vistas, the diverse marine and birdlife, the companions you'll explore with, and the fun you'll have.

This is a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages to get creative and showcase their artistic talents. Plus, you could win a $100 Coastal Sport voucher!
