Packed house at Cloudy Bay Funeral Home for The Whale Trail presentation

We were honoured to be invited to present at the May meeting of the Marlborough U3A.

With a full house of approx. 100 engaged members, Project Manager Nigel Muir talked through The Whale Trail project from inception to progress to date; highlighting the challenges and the wins for the region as we aim to deliver a world-class trail for our community.

Ann Anderson from Marlborough U3A commented, "The session was a fantastic opportunity to learn about the progress of The Whale Trail and the opportunities that are being generated for our community and local businesses."

The presentation was warmly received, sparking a lively and thoughtful Q&A session. Attendees asked a wide range of interesting questions — from the practical implications of constructing the trail and commercial opportunities along the route through to the broader discussions on maintenance and access.

Thank you to Marlborough U3A for the invitation and to everyone who attended. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to future opportunities to connect and share.
