There was a great turn out of volunteers for the working bee held in Mid-May to remove tree guards along the Lindens Road section of the trail.

A massive thank you to all who attended and assisted with removing and bundling of hundreds of guards in double quick time.

The plants in this area are now well established, so we trust they can handle any winter frosts that this season throws at them.

We are also very pleased to deliver some 550 used and perished tree guards to Future Post for recycling.

With the planting season now upon us, there will be more working bees coming up soon.
