From Kēkerengū you head South on an off-road trail that runs along the East side of the rail line to the Parikawa rest area and then onto Clarence.
The trail runs in the coastal duneland, a stunning cycle experience with the waves crashing on one side and the towering Kaikōura mountains on the other. Nearing the coastal uplift region from the 2016 earthquake, some amazing sights come into play.
